A typical Alpine region, Koroška boasts two top quality foods which are increasingly popular as souvenirs. These are Koroška rye bread and the Koroška must. Numerous visitors to tourist farms and guests of some of the traditional inns, or gostilnas, in this part of Slovenia often take these delicacies home with them.
