The smallest village in the western part of the municipality of Gornji Petrovci in the far NE corner of Slovenia, in the heart of the Goričko Nature Park. The houses stand on a ridge and in a valley between the villages of Kukeč and Križevci. In recent years numerous "weekenders" have been coming to the village, in particular people who love solitude and silence. The villagers depend on farming and fruit growing for their livelihood. The village has no particular sights of interest and is the only village in the municipality that does not even have a volunteer fire brigade.
