The village of Šlovrenc that used to be a border village between Austrian monarchy and the Venetian Republic until 1798 is also interesting. The Church of St. Lawrence was built in late Baroque. It has a semi-circular apse and an Aquileia-type bell tower built partly in 1667 and partly in 1898.
