An idyllic village, which seems like a fort on a small hill, is situated under the Krtinski Hrib hill on the very west part of Švica (under the backbone of Vrha hill). In the village are many old Karst houses with all characteristics of Karst architecture. In the vicinity grow figs and nut trees as it was typical for the Karst homes in the past. In the village surroundings are also several apple trees and vineyards. Under the village are two walled wells full of water. In a time of low rainfall the villagers collect water from springs and from the stream Vočak. The path to the river Raša leads through an oak forest which wood is used for construction.
