The village gained its name after many feeding and drinking trough. On
the west side of the village is a low hill Vršič where it was originally planned
that the village would be built. Only one of four houses is still preserved. In
the village vicinity is the Mrčeva jama cave in which nests wild pigeons.
On the road towards Hudi Log is a kal. The rainwater flow through the
pipes into troughs and then through an open small channel into the kal.
The surrounding villages are a popular tour for bicycling as past here lead
the race cycling track for the Slovene National Cup.

road Opatje Selo –
Kostanjevica and leads
through Hudi Log and
Korita towards Sela.
