The village of Kruplivnik is first mentioned in 1365 as Koprinik. A year later it appears as Wyzaloucha, before later being renamed Koprywnik. This dispersed settlement in the west of the Goričko region lies in the valley of a stream called Grački Potok ("Grad Stream") and, at the same time, up on the slope and along the valley west of the Bodonci-Grad road, from which it is accessible via a local road. The bottom of the valley is given over to meadows. Fields cover the sunny, gently sloping ridge, while the steeper part of the village territory in the south and east is covered by mixed forest. The village consists of several hamlets. East of the stream that flows down the valley from Grad towards Vadarci are Gregarov Breg, Rajnigarov Rob, Hubrov Breg, Kuzmičov Breg and Logarov Breg. West of the stream are Dole and Jeruzalem. The latter hamlet without a doubt owes its name to the Templars. The village also includes the hamlet of Frumenova Graba, which however is not mentioned in written sources. The name is used locally. The population is predominantly agricultural. Infirmity or old age has led the owners of small farms to lease their land to bigger farmers. There is a milk collection centre in the village. A small number of people have found work abroad. The village consists of 57 households, all of which are connected to the telephone network. Many of the village roads have recently been asphalted. The hamlet of Beli Križ has street lighting and a pub, recently renovated, able to cater for large groups. Most of the houses in the village are new or renovated. The remains of three dilapidated houses, the last of their kind, can still be seen. The cemetery has a new, modern chapel of rest. An interesting feature of the village is the old cylinder mill. No longer in use, this mill is currently being converted by its owner, Ana Ruh, into a residential property.
