Dragatuš is a clustered settlement along the road Črnomelj – Vinica, located 8 km from Črnomelj. The church of Janez Krstnik, which was built in the 19th century, ruined during the Second World War and rebuilt after it, boasts in the town centre.
The Slovene poet Oton Župančič spent his childhood years in Dragatuš, and visitors can pay him respect in the memorial room of the Župančičev hram inn. Only a stone’s throw away, the Regional Park Lahinja begins to tell you its own story.
