The wine- and fruit-growing settlement of Brje consists of numerous hamlets in the western part of the Vipava Hills. In the hamlet of Kodrovi stands an interesting row of Mediterranean-style houses with entrances into barrel-vaulted cellars and semi-circular portals. Above Brje lies the hamlet of sv. Martin with a church, which affords a magnificent view of the Vipava Valley, the Karst and the foothills of the Trnovski gozd plateau.
