 The city of Gornja Radgona lies along the river Mura, which set the life of this aera through time. The area of the Gornja Radgona municipality is squeezed into the north-eastern corner of Slovenia, between river Mura on the north, Pannonia plains on the east, Apaško polje on the west and Slovenske gorice.The municipality has around 9.000 residens of which 4.5000 live in the city of Gornja Radgona, and spreads on 75 km2. The border whit Austrija is 22 km long.
