Slovenia has a sea coast where you can swim in regulated sea bathing areas. Swimming in a natural setting is also possible in lakes and reservoirs, some rivers, swimming pools, spa resorts and numerous hotel pools. Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj are among the lakes where the water is clean enough for swimming and access for swimmers is regulated. Of Slovenia's rivers, it is the Kolpa that attracts most bathers in summer. The town of Kranj has an indoor Olympic swimming pool, while thermal spa resorts around the country offer modern indoor and outdoor pools.
